One of the many fan-inspired features to make it into FM 2006 will be that, for the first time, managers will be able to negotiate with their board of directors - not only for a better contract for themselves, but also for improved player wage budgets and increased transfer budgets or even stadium expansion. Be aware though, if you push too hard and don't reach the heights that the board specify, you'll soon be looking for a new job.

Half-time team talks add the ability to tell your players individually or collectively exactly what you thought of their first half performance, via the tactics screen. Will you be able to keep your players motivated, or will you cause a collapse in the second half?

Returning at last to the video game arena, developers id Software creators of classics such as Wolfenstein and Doom have announced the latest in the Quake series of first person shoot 'em-ups.

The game is being developed by Raven Software, makers of X-Men Legends, Star Wars: Jedi Academy, Soldier of Fortune and Star Trek: Elite.;Quake IV will mark a return to id Software's trademark single player gameplay experience set in the Quake II universe, one of the best selling franchises in PC gaming history. The player will have many choices to make in Black & White 2. Once you and your creature have convinced the people that you are a God, you then have to decide if you are going to care for your believers, building them huge cities that are beautiful and safe, or if are you going to rule the land causing death and destruction by leading vast armies into battle.

Rome: Total War for the PC, is the next game to be released in the Total War series and the follow-up title to The Creative Assembly's Medieval: Total War. Players return to the golden age of antiquity to take command of the most fearsome armies in a bid to rewrite the annals of history and be proclaimed supreme commander of the Roman Army.
